This expanded service engages multiple, proximate or neighboring properties to improve localized water management. The emphasis here is upon neighborhood-risk mapping, and the development of low-cost flood reduction and mitigation. Flooding is often a problem of multiple properties in a community, and this tier of services addresses that circumstance in an integrated fashion. Solutions may include: downspout disconnection and drywells, and rain gardens and tree planting on parkways.
Towns or cities wishing to offer RainReady services to their residents will draw up a memorandum of agreement with CNT. If you are a resident, please ask your mayor or elected leader to contact Dawn Thompshon, RainReady Neighbors Director, firstname.lastname@example.org.
